AUBURN, Ala. — Kentucky has made dozens of trips to Auburn, Ala., over the years, but this midweek road trip marks UK’s first visit to Auburn’s new basketball facility, Auburn Arena.
In light of the first-time visit, I snapped a few photos of the team during its shoot-around at the new arena. They’re amateur pictures taken from a phone so please excuse the quality, but I thought you would enjoy a little behind-the-scenes look of the team as it prepares to take on Auburn at 8 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
The arena is rather small with a capacity of 9,121 seats, but the second-year arena is intimate, sparkling and should be packed for Thursday night’s Southeastern Conference showdown.
