Now more than a month into the NBA season, I thought it would be another good time to review how former Kentucky Wildcats and former John Calipari players are faring in the NBA.
With Keith Bogans signing a contract with the New Jersey Nets earlier in the week, there are now 16 former Wildcats in the NBA and 13 players who played under Coach Cal. Derrick Rose has continued to follow up on his MVP season with a sensational fourth year in the league for the 19-6 Chicago Bulls, while Rajon Rondo was becoming the focal point of the Boston Celtics offense before suffering a wrist injjry.
For all that and more, here is how everyone has done statistically this season:
Former Wildcats

Keith Bogans (New Jersey Nets) – Just signed a deal to play for the New Jersey Nets. Played 17 minutes in his season debut Wednesday.
*Eric Bledsoe (Los Angeles Clippers) – Just returned from offseason knee surgery. Has played in one game after a short rehabilitation stint in the NBA Developmental League.
*DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings) – 21 games, 19 starts, 28.5 mpg, 14.7 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 1.3 bpg
*Josh Harrellson (New York Knicks) – Had played in 16 games and was averaging 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds before breaking his wrist on Jan. 21. He was supposed to miss at least six weeks from the time of the injury.
Chuck Hayes (Sacramento Kings) – Currently battling a shoulder injury and is listed as day-to-day. Played in 11 games, averaging 4.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
*Enes Kanter (Utah Jazz) – 21 games, 14.4 mpg, 5.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg
*Brandon Knight (Detroit Pistons) – 24 games, 18 starts, 12.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.4 apg, 35.4 3-point FG pct.
*DeAndre Liggins (Orlando Magic) – Has not played yet
Jamaal Magloire (Toronto Raptors) – 15 games, 12.9 mpg, 0.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg
Jodie Meeks (Philadelphia 76ers) – 22 games, 22 starts, 25.8 mpg, 9.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 42.6 3-point percentage
Nazr Mohammed (Oklahoma City Thunder) –20 games, 12.5 mpg, 3.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg
*Daniel Orton (Orlando Magic) – Made his NBA debut Jan. 27 at New Orleans, logging three minutes and scoring two points.
*Patrick Patterson (Houston Rockets) – 20 games, 20.0 mpg, 6.4 ppg, 3.4 rpg
Tayshaun Prince (Detroit Pistons) – 22 games, 22 starts 32.8 mpg, 12.1 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.9 apg
Rajon Rondo (Boston Celtics) – Has missed the last seven games with a wrist injury. The Boston Globe is reporting that he’s expected to make his return Friday against New York. Before getting hurt, Rondo was averaging 15.0 points, 9.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals. He was shooting 51.7 percent from the field.
*John Wall (Washington Wizards) – 22 games, 22 starts, 36.3 mpg, 15.5 ppg, 7.2 apg, 5.3 rpg, 1.3 spg, 1.0 bpg
