Cats measure up well at the NBA Draft Combine

Last week the NBA released its anthropometric measurements of the NBA Draft Combine participants. You can view Kentucky’s six draft hopefuls here.

On Tuesday, the NBA released the results of its athletic testing, measurements such as a player’s vertical jump, bench press and sprint.

Anthony Davis, given the likelihood of his draft position, was one of a handful of players who did not participate in the athletic testing. The results of the Wildcats’ measurements are below.

Of note, Marquis Teague’s maximum vertical of 40.5 inches was tied for the second out of all participants. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had the third-fastest time in the 3/4-court sprint with a time of 3.18 seconds, and Teague was tied for fourth (3.19).

Draft Express has the measurements of each and every player at the combine here.
