If you’re in New York this week for the Barclays Center Classic, the NYC UK Alumni Club has a couple of events going on around the game to keep you entertained. Here’s the release from the UK Alumni Association: 

The NYC UK Alumni Club invites alumni and friends to attend pregame events for the Barclays Center Classic, the UK men’s basketballpregame opener against Maryland, in New York, N.Y., on Thursday, Nov. 8, and Friday, Nov. 9.

Pregame activities include the Annual Wildcat State of Mind Scholarship Benefit Event, Wildcat State of Mind Pre-Game at Jack Demsey’s and a stop at Uncle Barry’s in Brooklyn for pre-game drinks.

Bus transportation to and from Jack Demsey’s and the Barclays Center is available to those who RSVP.
