Former Kentucky forward and last year’s top overall draft pick Anthony Davis is expected to play Tuesday night for the first time in nearly a month, according to several reports.
Davis hasn’t played since Nov. 17 because of a sprained ankle.
Davis, the 2012 Final Four Most Outstanding Player, has lived up to the hype of being the top overall draft pick when he’s been healthy and on the court. He’s averaging 16.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in six games played.
The Hornets play John Wall’s Washington Wizards, although Wall has missed the entire season thus far with a knee injury.
