New Orleans Pelicans players practicing at Joe Craft Center

Around the walls of the men’s basketball practice gym at the Joe Craft Center are pictures of former Kentucky basketball players now playing in the NBA. On the floor Monday were four of those players.

Players from the New Orleans Pelicans are getting in workouts at the Joe Craft Center this week, including former Wildcat greats DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Darius Miller and Rajon Rondo.

Miller and Davis, of course, helped lead Kentucky to its eighth national championship in 2012, and Cousins was part of head coach John Calipari’s first team at UK in 2010. Rondo, who played two seasons at Kentucky (2005-06) prior to Coach Cal’s arrival, ranks 21st in program history in career assists (285).
