John Calipari will join a star-studded cast as one of nine featured speakers on Wednesday at a business seminar in Rupp Arena.

Calipari and a cast of marquee figures, including former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former First Lady Laura Bush, and Forbes, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Forbes, will be featured at the Get Motivated Business Seminar on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 a.m.

Each guest will make a speech at the skill-building business event. Calipari is scheduled to talk around 9 a.m.

Speakers include Calipari, Powell, Bush, Forbes, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz, acclaimed investing expert Mary Buffett, top sales training expert Bob Harrison and legendary president of Microsoft Rick Belluzzo.

Calipari’s speech will focus on how to achieve teamwork and togetherness and how to be recognized and rewarded for your effort.

The Get Motivated Seminar is described on its official website as a “blockbuster one-day seminar” that “will give you proven strategies to sharpen your business skills, ignite your motivation, accelerate your effectiveness and increase your income.” The seminar, which features “only the best of the best,” features pyrotechnics, live music and special effects to set the stage for the presentations.

Future stops for the nationwide tour – not including Wednesday’s guest speakers – include Providence, R.I., on Oct. 3, Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 17 and Los Angeles on Oct. 31.
