As I left Charlotte, I left a little bit emotional after seeing them. Success is winning games and even a national title, but to me, significance is that picture above.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, we’ll tip off our efforts to help those affected by Sandy with our “Rebounding from Sandy” telethon. At 6 p.m., phone lines will be open to take donations for the American Red Cross, and an online auction to bid on items will go live. The phone lines will close at 9 p.m., but the online auction items will be available for 24 hours.
In between a couple of recruiting trips today, I decided to stop by our practice facility and talk to my team for a little spur-of-the-moment meeting. It isn’t out of the norm for me to call meetings like the one I called today, but I knew they were all together for media photo day and I had something I wanted to share with them.
