Wall and Patterson on Wooden List; Big Cuz Named SEC Player of the Week

Both John Wall and Patrick Patterson are among the 30 mid-season candidates for the 2009-10 John R. Wooden Award, the Wooden Award Committee announced Monday. The top 30 candidates were selected based on individual excellence and team record during the first half of the season.

A Good Read; Clark and Verne for Saturday

Of the many wonderful gifts Coach Calipari received over the holidays, there’s one that has had prominent space on his desk in recent days. Originally published in 1948 by Prentice-Hall, Inc., the book is authored by none other than Adolph Rupp and is titled, “Rupp’s Championship Basketball.”
