Hood, Polson, Beckham set to graduate Sunday

Rupp Arena takes on a new meaning for three members of the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team Sunday, May 5, as they participate in UK’s 146th May Commencement. Twany Beckham, Jon Hood and Jarrod Polson, all Kentucky natives, can add having a college degree to their already long list of accomplishments.

SEC Network to launch in August 2014

The Southeastern Conference and ESPN have signed a 20-year agreement through 2034 to create and operate a multiplatform network, which will launch in August 2014, it was announced today by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive and ESPN President John Skipper.

Traditional powers, neutral sites highlight 2013-14 nonconference schedule

Kentucky will play nine opponents who made the postseason in 2013, five NCAA Tournament teams, the defending national champions, and three programs who the pundits believe will make a serious run at the Final Four during its 2013-14 nonconference schedule, which UK released Wednesday.
