Earlier in the week, Kentucky head coach John Calipari eluded to the fact that he is often most nervous each year at the NBA Draft. In that sense, Thursday’s NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., could not have been good for Coach Cal’s stomach. When all the dust settled, Jamal Murray was selected seventh overall to the Denver Nuggets, Skal Labissiere went 28th to the Sacramento Kings via a trade with the Phoenix Suns (it should be noted no trades are official on draft day, and are only proposals), and Tyler Ulis was nabbed by the Suns with the 34th pick.
