Noel only freshman on NBC Sports’ preseason All-America teams

The centerpiece of Kentucky’s 2012 class was named a preseason All-American by College Basketball Talk, NBC Sports’ basketball college basketball website. Noel was named a preseason third-team All-American by the website.

Coach Cal supports NBA team in Louisville

The great debate for an NBA team in Louisville continues to roll on, but consider John Calipari a supporter of the idea. With the KFC Yum! Center in place, Calipari believes it’s a no-brainer to sign off on an NBA team if one is interested in moving to the Derby City. Freedom Hall is also an option.

Sporting News ranks UK preseason No. 4

Sporting News revealed its preseason top 25 on Tuesday, placing John Calipari’s Kentucky team at No. 4. A season after winning the national championship but losing six of their top players, Sporting News predicts that the Cats will once again be in the hunt for a national championship.
