First-ever UK volleyball match at Rupp Arena to be featured at Big Blue Madness

The Kentucky volleyball team’s Oct. 12 match vs. Mississippi State has officially become a part of Big Blue Madness, UK announced Monday. The match will take place at 5 p.m. ET to kick off a full night of UK events in Rupp Arena. It will also mark the first regular-season UK volleyball match to take place in Rupp Arena in school history.

Harrellson signs with NBA champions

The Miami Heat announced the signing of Harrellson on Monday. The terms of the deal were were not disclosed, per team policy, but Harrellson will likely be competing for a roster spot in training camp.

Fantasy Experience auction raises $128k for charity

Auctioning off experiences like serving as an assistant coach for a day, court-side seats at a Charlotte Bobcats game with Calipari and a suite for the first Kentucky game of the year at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., Calipari and Co. raised approximately $128,000 in 20 minuets, all of which will go to charity.

Wall announced as other celebrity guest coach

John wall won’t be playing in the UK Alumni Charity Game, but he will have an impact. If you missed it earlier Friday, John Calipari announced that Wall would be the other celebrity guest coach, opposite of hip-hop mogul Drake.
