- Patrick Patterson is shooting 60.8 percent from the floor this season, placing him 3rd all time on the shooting percentage list for Juniors at UK. Marquis Estill and Melvin Turpin have slightly higher percentages.

- DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall are 32 freethrows away from scoring the most freethrows as a freshman in UK history. They both have 99 scored. Sam Bowie sits at 110 for his freshman year (34 games) and Dwight Anderson sits at the top with 131 (29 games).

- Deandre Liggins currently is #1 all time in 3-point field goal percentage for a sophomore as he is 7 of 12, (minimum to qualify is 12 3s attempted)

• LSU will retire the shirt of Tiger All-American Rudy Macklin of Louisville, at halftime of today's game. Former LSU coach, Dale Brown is expected to be in attendance. Macklin was a Tiger from 1976-81 and is the school's second all-time leading scorer.

• Really, the biggest fear of the UK coaching staff is that LSU's Tasmin Mitchell has one of his "Tasmin days," similar to the way Devan Downey did at South Carolina.

• Let's all send our best wishes to Coach Orlando Antigua who ruptured the Achilles tendon in his righ tfoot on Thursday night. He was unable to travel to today's game and will have surgery on Wednesday.

DeMarcus Cousins led UK with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Patrick Patterson added 16 points and 5 rebound and Eric Bledsoe was the other Cat in double figures with 10 points and four steals. John Wall had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. DeAndre Liggins had 7 points and 8 rebounds (a career and season high) in 18 minutes.

UK out-rebounded LSU 53-31 and outscored the Tigers 46-22 in the paint.

Bo Spencer led all scorers with 25 points for LSU and Tasmin Mitchell was held to 10 points on 4 of 15 shooting.
