The John Calipari Satellite Camp kicked off Monday and will continue on into next week. CoachCal.com was along for the ride on Monday to snap a few pictures of this year’s campers as they learn some basketball from the Kentucky coaching staff and players.

Coach Cal on Capitol Hill

John Calipari was in Washington, D.C., Wednesday to watch John Wall’s game against the New York Knicks. Beforehand, Coach Cal stopped by Capitol Hill to meet with some of the nation’s legislators and present Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a congressman from Kentucky, with a piece of the national championship floor. On Thursday, he will accompany Congressman Hal Rogers, a U.S. Representative from Kentucky, to the National Prayer Breakfast.
