Davis, a 6-foot-10 freshman from Chicago, will have a pretty good chance at breaking the UK blocks record in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday when the Cats take on the Volunteers at noon in Thompson-Boling Arena. Davis needs just five blocks to tie the single-season mark of 83 held by Melvin Turpin and Andre Riddick. Six blocks will break the record, a mark Davis has met or exceeded in five games this season.
